Make Me Feel Alive

Polymath Vampire is a melodic ambient project I created in order to express feelings and ideas I could not through my typical production process.
It is a freeform musical expression of how the various iterations of happiness, sadness, fear, and anger interact with each other inside our minds.
To compose each song, I would program sequences into four synthesizers, run them, and alter the parameters/effects in real time. This technique was recorded live in order to create a "struggle for order" similar to the way each person struggles to balance all the opposing emotions they experience throughout the day.
Following this, talented guitarists Winterquilt, Hawaii94, Donor Lens, Tower of the Sun, and Golden Living Room were asked to take certain songs and add guitar textures. These textures are meant to breathe peace into the confusion. They represent the times in our life when strife dissipates, and peace washes into confusion. These are the album's general themes but there is a full story being told in it as well. I will allow the listener to divine that.

Creating this record was a deeply cathartic process, and, from the bottom of my heart, I thank all of you who take the time to listen.
